This is a fundraiser for my daughter Leah Tyrrell, her husband Ryan and their 3 year old twins; Lilly and Amelia.
Leah has helped raise thousands of dollars for those in need and has opened her home to others who have needed love and support. She also has a passion for children, which has lead her to teach autism classes as well as start her "My Kindness Matters" initiative. During these times of helping others, not many were aware of her medical struggles as she never complained or took anything for herself. Leah has been battling a debilitating connective tissue disease for over a decade. Her list of diagnosis and symptoms could fill this entire page so wel will start with her recent condition. In March of this year, Leah suffered from what they thought was a migraine. After 5 visits to the hospital with no relief, Leah learned that she had a stroke caused by a cerebral aneurysm. In June she had a craniotomy to clip the the aneurysm. Unfortunately, some of the aneurysm still aneurysm remains and she still suffers from stroke symptoms such as left sided weakness, visual impairments and the pain of a constant migraine.
These conditions will be ongoing and symptoms can occur in a moment's time, making it imperative that she be near a hospital. In addition, they have lost their home and many of their belongings due to their rising medical expenses. We found a one-story ranch with a fenced in yard that is close to hospitals, doctors and Ryan's work and school. Please help us in our efforts to replace their lost items and pay their rent for one year. Please help us TAKE THEM HOME!
