Paying the Mortgage + the IRS + Medical

How did I get to this point?

In January 2011, I left the job I had been at for 10+ years. Why? Because the job itself was making me physically ill. I was already drained from the past several years of caring my mother in her final years. The job was adding more stress than a person could handle.

The next several months were spent job hunting and getting settled into the house I had purchased prior to leaving the job.

When I did find a job, it was through a temp agency making WAY less than I had been previously making. To the tune of 70% less income. The job hunting continued and the bills continued to pile up.

in late 2011 - early 2012, I got behind on the mortgage payments, as well as many other bills. That led to my filing for bankruptcy at the start of 2012, giving up my vehicle for an old used car (Honda was about to repossess my car). During this time I did move to a new temp position with more money that would eventually become permanent. But the financial damage was done.

Even though I am now making payments again, the mortgage company (JP Morgan Chase) would like their money for the missed payments. They turned me down for a loan modification and at this point the only way to keep my house is to pay them in full for the several months I was behind. It's simply a matter of time before the foreclosure letter arrives.

The car I got when I had to give up my vehicle is a piece of crap. It was all I could at the time and have now spent more in repairs than I paid for it to begin with. It won't be too long until the thing dies and cannot be repaired.

I'm still making payments to the IRS for the 2012 tax bill due to my withdrawing everything from my IRA to make the house payments (as well as buy food) during of 2011.

At the start of 2013, I had to have several medical tests and a biopsy, which came back clear, but left me with an over $3000 bill to the hospital for the deductible and what the insurance would not cover.

My elderly dogs (Pugs) seriously need a visit to the veterinarians office. One of them had a serious seizure two months ago and I was unable to pay for the tests the doctor wanted to run.

I've cut back on anything and everything and am still one step from losing my house. What I'm hoping to do is to collect enough to
1) keep Chase from foreclosing
2) put towards a better car (still used, but better condition)
3) pay off the IRS and the hospital
4) get my dogs to the veterinarian's office

Most of all, enable me to get a bit ahead of the game and save up an emergency fund, so that when the unexpected happens, I'm not panicking over the money.

Anything you can contribute will be put towards these goals and will be GREATLY appreciated.
