Donations For Dane !

Our 8year old son Dane was diagnosed with "T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia"(T-cell ALL) on May 29th,2013.In that moment life as we knew it was forever changed. At that time my husband took a month off work to be with myself,our son Dane and our daughter Tennia who is 10yrs old.We obviously needed this time to adjust to our sons diagnosis,support one another as a family and hold our sons hand,heart and spirit as he began Induction Chemotheropy treatments. We have struggled daily in every aspect of our family life as we try to cope with our sons illness,our daughters wellbeing and her needs,financial and "normal"life obligations. We recently were informed by the doctors that the Chemotheropy treatments in the Induction were not successful(2% of children donot respond to treatment) thus our son is on a new Chemo treatment plan.We are praying to God for a miracle over Dane as he fights to beat this cancer! As parents our hearts are broken but thankful for the blessings in everyday.My husband works long shifts out of town to support his family when all he wants is to be home with his son.Most of my days are spent traveling back and forth to the Edmonton Stollery for Danes chemo treatments ,which is an hour drive one way. At times we spend days there when Dane is admitted as well.We are asking for a bit of financial support if any are able...as we have added financial burden for expences of fuel,medications,eating out costs,traveling expences etc.As we dont know what the near future holds for our family,we are praying Dane responds to this chemo which then we will be traveling and staying in Calgary for further treatment at the Stollery.Dane is a happy and ever so loving boy with alot of character and loves Jesus!He prays for all daily so please pray for him as well :).Thanks for your support,Tennille Womacks
