Lets get Brady back on his feet!

As many of you know Brady has a rough year. He was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Arthritis in December and has been on a whole bunch of meds since then to try and get it under control. We had it under control for a little while, but it flared up again in June.

Unfortunately the cure - Prednisone -is in many ways as bad as the illness and he's had a whole lot of setbacks since then.

His most recent setback has to do with a foot injury that hasn't been able to heal properly due to his prednisone use. Brady ingested the bandage the vet was using to try and get his injury to heal, and he now requires surgery.





Brady's care since December has been over $6000. His current meds are nearly $150 a month. And he still has a ways to go. I have Pet insurance but it has only covered about $1000. His surgery will be almost $4000.


The vet feels that he can recover from the stomach surgery as well as the arthritis and be healthy again. The goal of the vet is drive his immune system disorder into remission, which she assures me can be done. But until then any little bit to take the edge off would be very helpful!
