Yvonne Papanek Cancer Treatment Fund

Yvonne Papanek is my childhood best friend. For 30+ years, we've supported each other, and now Yvonne needs your support too.

In January 2016, Yvonne was diagnosed with breast cancer. She took a traditional approach and was given a mastectomy with promising results. Recently, after a follow-up cat scan, her doctors found that the cancer has metastasized to the sternum with a lytic lesion. This means the cancer is now systemic and can develop anywhere in her body. An experienced health practitioner in alternative and holistic medicine, Yvonne is confident she can make the cancer non-active and rid her body of cancer cells with an alternative approach.

To achieve this, she will undertake an intensive program at An Oasis of Healing in Mesa, Arizona. She will be assisted by western doctors and monitored daily. The clinic's success stories are amazing, but the four-week program costs $28,000. This is outside of Yvonne's reach and will not be covered by her California medical insurance.
