NFK ST MUSEUM is looking for community support to paint the exterior wall on the corner of Princess Anne & Granby in Norfolk, Va.
In partnership with some of our NEON neighbors, and a coalition of artists, we've crafted a response to the tumultuous times we've all endured this past year and the importance of voting, not only nationally but in local elections.
Our partners at Slowdive Gallery and in the NEON District want to brighten up the walls and create welcoming corridors into our areas. This thoroughfare from Ghent to downtown and from Huntersville to West Ghent is a perfect space for a strong message of solidarity.
The design created by Ian Oliver, has already been approved by the property owners and will be painted by a team of artists including Khalil Riddick, Navid Rahman and a coalition of volunteers and students. Your donations help support the artists, afford the paint, and compensate the creative community for their time and energy.
