Sister Susie's Sarcoma Struggle

Susie is one of the best moms I know. A true giver. All that know her, say it all the time. She would never do this for herself this is why I have taken it upon myself to start this campaign.


Her life is her children and no matter what she is doing she is always there for them. It is not my sister, Susie, that is coming to you to ask for help. I'm her younger brother and my plea is out of talking with Susie everyday for the past five weeks and knowing what she is going through with her kids. My nephew Jessie has Ewing's Sarcoma, a rare bone disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or soft tissue. In Jessie's case it's the bone in his upper leg. From the beginning Jessie's main support group has been Susie and his girlfriend Sara. Sara, is a true angel on earth, I have met few like her. Sara's mother and other family members and friends are their too for support. My sister is by Jessie's side everyday that he is at the hospital and almost all days when he is at home. If you know Susie, you know this is just what she does. Who she is. She uses the word "blessed" often. A fighter through and through she says it everyday that the care Jessie is receiving and the support from friends and family is generous, loving and needed. "Blessed."


But... now I ask, of you, for small financial support. Susie's thin ice has melted and she is in desperate need of financial assistance. Her car is failing, washer and dryer is broken and water heater works no more. Credit cards are maxed and she has six children. And, there are many more pressing issues. I look to you, that know Susie and know her kindness, strength and overwhelming love and commitment to her children and plead that you give just what you can. Look into your hearts and take just a few minutes to help. I personally wish I didn't have to ask. But, time is no longer with us. I thank you all for your prayers, comfort, love and most of all your support.
