Kaylee's Amputation Surgery Fund

The Story

On Sunday Night Kaylee came home unable to put weight on her hind leg. We rushed her to the Emergency Vet, and it was discovered that she has suffered trauma to the face, and hind leg. Her ankle joint was shattered. 

Today (Thursday) We just got back from our surgical consult. 
Kaylee's joint is at this point too messed up to save. 
We could look at surgery on it, but there is no guarantee it would work, and give her mobility, would likely end up with a fused joint, and pain the rest of her life. And a price tag of about $10,000 for the procedure and followups.

So, we've made the terribly difficult decision to have her leg amputated. This is still gonna run over $3,000 but she will heal much faster, and have a better quality of life in the future.
