For those close to Brampton, Ontario, Canada you probably have heard the story or glanced at photos. As of Thursday July 11, 2013 at approximately 3:45 pm, our family home (The Critch Family) on Crescent Hill Drive North was engulfed in flames.The fire broke out in the basement with 6 people inside. Everyone inside made it out safely.
Some of us had seconds to grab small personal items, but most have been left with only the clothes on our backs.
The incredible Brampton Firefighting crews battled the flames for hours. .
I have included photos and links to two news story, one includes a video of the tragedy taking place, if you are interested in taking a look.
We are currently being housed in hotels and trying to hold on to hope that we can get back on our feet. We have been suddenly reminded of the incredible role that family, friends and even strangers put themselves in, just to help those in need. We are extremely grateful for any and all support we receive in the trying time.
We,The Critch Family, have been so thankful for the outcry of support we have been circled with since this tragedy. We have decided to launch this funding website as a place for those who have expressed interest in helping us.
We have set our goal at $1, as we believe no donation is too small, we are so grateful for anything support.
Please remember to embrace those you love just a little bit tighter.

We, The Critch Family, would like to express our gratitude at how much interest this page has generated, and its thanks to all you! We have been blown away with the support that has been passed our way since starting this site. Please know that each of you holds a place in our heart and we will not forgot your generosity. The donations collected here are going to help us replace a lot of items we lost, and it wouldn't be possible without all of your help!
As for our family, we are staying strong. We are so thankful to be safe and are keeping together for support. We have uploaded a few more photos for those interested.
