Help US help HER

The backbone of our family literally broke her back. Her L1 vertebrae is shattered, and is considered an unstable fracture. For any normal patient, the surgery to fix her spine wouldn’t be an issue. However our moms lung function is a mere 15% and the risks of inducing her could result in life long dependency on a ventilator, which she has made clear she does not want. Our hopes are to get her in a brace that will (hopefully) take the pressure off of the shattered vertebrae and allow the drs to inject cement into the bones to fuse them back together. As of now, we are collaborating with pulmonary and cardiac specialist in hopes to get her heart and lungs strong enough to get on the road to recovery. Any funds collected will go to making sure she has round-the-clock care and support & so that she can finally worry about HERSELF for once and not the financial struggles that are being accrued.
