A new year … a new book request!!!
As many of you might already know, I have switched gears this year in my career. While I might not be teaching children daily, I will always passionately advocate for early literacy.
That being said, I am continuing the Magic of Books campaign to foster a love of learning in the young readers from my previous school.
My hope for the campaign is to raise money for each Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade student to purchase new, individually selected books. Currently there are 43 students total between the 3 classes. Most of the students come from non-English speaking households. Many do not have access to books at home and have not experienced the thrill of purchasing new books. I would love for each one of these young readers to feel that joy!
Please consider donating and/or sharing this campaign to ensure that my students can experience the Magic of Books.
