Sickle Strong Initiative Fundraiser

Due to the large number of requests that the Sickle Strong Initiative has received for the formation of support groups, we feel that it is our imperative to put together support group meetings where sickle cell warriors and their families and/or caretakers can meet and interact amongst themselves.

We plan to partner with hospitals within the region that already have running sickle cell clinics. We want to make these meetings interactive and light with motivational guest speakers, counseling sessions and an on site medical officer to address any issues the attendees may raise during the meetings.  We feel that it is our imperative to put together support group meetings where sickle cell warriors and their families and/or caretakers can meet and interact amongst themselves.
