My name is Ramon Jose Marti Ramirez de Arellano. I am 21 years old and I regularly go to Millersville University.
A few months ago I was accepted to Study Abroad in London for a whole year. There I will be continuing my studies of Government and Political Affairs in the London Metropolitan University. During the fall semester, I will be taking courses such as: International Aid and Development, Public Diplomacy and Global Communication, and a couple of sociology courses on Comparative and Social Policy, and another entitled Childhood, Youth and Education.
This was really exciting news and from then I began working on all of the financial and logistical aspects in my power in order to make this trip work.
After praying and seeking for God's wisdom, I came out of a meeting with the Director of Financial Aid at my university, Millersville University of Pennsylvania, telling me that all my bills (tuition and housing) would be covered for the whole year except transportation, food, and other personal expenses (like tooth paste).
This summer I have been working hard in order to save money for London. I have been working at the Dean's Office of the School of Education at Millersville University during the mornings and also will begin working from 3:30pm to 12:00am at a Pudding/Cheese Factory.
I only ask that you give whatever God puts in your heart. This money will be used for food, transportation, personal expenses (such as tooth paste) and if I am able to afford it go to Spain and spend some time in the town where my ancestors came from.
