Help get Kita the MRI she needs!

I adopted Kita about 3 months ago and she is the sweetest little girl I could have asked for. A week after bringing her home, Kita had her first grand mal seizure at only 5 months old. It scared me more than anything I have ever seen in my life. Since that day, we have made countless trips to the vet, and started her on a cocktail of anti-seizure medications.
Unfortunately for Kita, the vets do not believe this is epilepsy, which is rather common in dogs. Because of how young she was when she first started seizing and the frequent reoccurances of the seizures despite medication, the neurological veterinary specialist I brought her too believes this is something she was born with..."brain tumor" and "brain lesion" were thrown around along with talk of euthanization should she not improve.
My options? Come up with $2000 to get an MRI for Kita to establish a proper diagnosis. The problem is, I just got laid off less than a week ago and my hopes of saving the money for the procedure are dwindling. I love Kita. She has brought so much joy to me in such a short time that I would do anything to help her.
Which is where gofundme.com comes in. I'm looking to the generosity of strangers to help me potentially save my little girl. How can you resist that face? Any help is so greatly appreciated!
In the mean time, Kita and I will KCCO!
