Support Local Veteran"Ty's Funeral"

"The Son of a Brave Army Veteran has gone to Heaven" After a year long battle with  Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Ty Anthony Rivas the Son of Magaly Rivas a veteran from Lawrence has passed away. Ty was diagnosed in March 15, 2015 and since fought very hard to stay alive but complications from a severe infection took his last breath away on Friday March 25, 2016. Ty was a true warrior but you would never know by just looking at him, a black belt martial artist and loving son who cared deeply for his siblings Cris and Mia. Ty became a caretaker for his home and his blings at the age of 18 due to his mother Magaly several deployments to Iraq. Ty paused his studies to make sure that he took great care of Cris and Mia while mom was over seas protecting our country. 

I juan Manny Gonzalez come to you asking for your support for the grieving "Rivas" family because I understand the financial hardship that they are going through and their worries about not being able to cover the funeral arrangements that are taking place this Thursday March 31, 2016 at Diaz & Healy Funeral Home from 4-8PM. Please help this family pay their last respect with a humble send off to Heaven to their loved one Ty Anthony Rivas.

All of your kind donations would be used to cover the cost of the funeral plus any other expenses incurred by this tragic loss.

Please Keep in mind that this grieving mother left for the Army just before her graduation day (Lawrence High School) and spent over 20 years making sacrifices, for you, me and the country as a whole. She was part of several deployments where she sustained several injuries that left her disabled and finally retiring this past year. Her children endured the pain of not having mom around for many many years. That to me, is Priceless!!!
