Act of Love- Philippines 2013

Spende geschützt
This year the Act of Love team is planning a trip to the Philippines in September. We will visit the city of Kabankalan-Bacolod and surrounding villages. The families are large and the parents make a living by working in sugarcane farms to support their families.

Unfortunately, the farms are off season and are closed from June to end of October. With their only income being cut off the families are suffering from food shortages. There are 315 families with approximatly 730 kids in that region.

We would like to buy each family 100 pound bag of rice which costs 42 dollars. Also we would like to give a gift of a new pair of shoes to each child. The members of our team will be traveling to the villages where we are going to hand out these necessities, while spreading the word of the gospel, and showing acts of love to the needy.

There is no donation too small to impact a life. We cannot do this on our own and are asking for your support. Help us bring gifts of food and shoes to each family. We also ask that you keep our mission trip and the people of the Philippines in your prayers. We are asking for your help to light up a child's face and give back to the community, here is how you can take part. Your prayers and financial support are greatly appreciated. With your donation you have the power to change a life and someones future.

If you will be sending in a donation in a form of a check, please specify it is for the "Act of Love Philippines" in the memo section.
