HELP US THROUGH THIS

Hey my name is Mike,
I never thought I would do this, but it's worth a try.

I am trying to raise money to pay for a lawyer to represent me in my custody case. I have already filed for primary custody and, because of our history, have been told I have a good chance. Anybody that has been around me and my son, knows how strong the bond is that we share and the amazing father/son relationship we have. I have been with him, always by his side - guiding and molding him into the boy he is today. He has no idea the impact of him coming into my life,he has also changed and molded me into the man I have become.
I hate that it has come to this, but I have to do anything and everything to ensure my son is safe and is given the best upbringing. I need a lawyer to help prevent the possibility of me being forced to become a part-time (everyother weekend) dad. The reality of what this would do to mine and my son's life is scary and would be devestating for the both of us.
I have been a fully involved father/dad/role model to my son his whole life. From the first days of changing diapers, feeding bottles to potty training and teaching him to swim, and ride a bike. I was a coach on his teeball team. I taught him math and how to read long before he was learning it in school. I continue to read and do his homework with him. I take him to church, parks, playgrounds, the beach, movies - I love just being with my son.
I love him so much and cant take any chances . We are at a huge turning point in his life and mine. I only want what's best and healthiest for him. Unfortunately, as a result of the stereotype that many fathers tend to choose not being involved and/or not being there at all for their children - unmarried fathers rights in Florida are minimal. Unless you fight for them.

I'm not here to talk badly about my son's mother, and don't want to post detailed info on this site as to all the ins and outs of my case.

Update: Due to Lawyers my case has been postponed. I will not get a final hearing until jan/feb 2014. (1 Year from when i filed) I still need to pay my lawyer . Holidays are coming ..my job cut my hours..Just need a helping hand or many helping hands.
