3E9s Affected By Hurricane Michael

Hurricane Michael struck Tyndall Air Force Base on Wednesday, October 10th, and has completely destroyed the installation and surrounding communities.  Tyndall is not only home to our AFCEC Emergency Management Team, but also our Silver Flag cadre and the Tyndall Emergency Management Flight. 

At this time, we know at least five members of our 3E9 family have sustained catastrophic damage to their homes and lost most, if not all, of their worldly possessions.  Unfortunately, this number is sure to climb higher as those that evacuated are able to determine the extent of the damage, and those that stayed behind are able to make contact.  Updates will be made as soon as they're received.

Life has been permanently altered for dozens of our fellow 3E9s, and they have an extremely long road ahead of them.  We're taking donations that will be divided up among those that have lost their homes.  The money will be used so they can buy the things they really need to get their families through the next few weeks and/or months.
