Physical Therapy Students to Thailand

Dear Friends:
A small group of students within the program will be traveling to Thailand in July 2013 for an exciting educational opportunity. We will be working in cooperation with Chiang Mai University, teaching a course on Western Medical Culture to Chiang Mai PT students, working with special-needs pediatric and geriatric populations, as well as traveling to Cambodia to observe in a prosthetic clinic. We will also be learning a wide variety of treatment modalities and will be gaining valuable volunteer experience, both of which can be used to serve our future patients better.
While this trip is rich with opportunity, it is also a serious financial commitment. As trip participants, we are fundraising to buffer travel and educational costs. This is where you can make a difference. Every donation counts and will be split among the four students and one professor participating.
