So here’s the truth...
The last couple of years with my husband has been very toxic. I’ve never had the courage to leave or say anything because I didn’t want to be judged because of course I loved him. I stayed. Through all of the mental, verbal and sometimes physical abuse. He would apologize, I would forgive and I would stay every time. Now that we have a beautiful little girl, I can’t bring myself to stay in this toxic situation anymore. I have to protect her and her well being; she’s the most important thing that matters to me. Her life long development is at risk, and she deserves better.
Following the birth of our daughter, I became very reliant on my husband. He took on a lot of the financial responsibilities. Things have taken a bad turn again and he has left the home. His inability to settle things amicably, has left me to ask for help with paying bills and legal fees; which will be very costly. My pride wouldn’t let me ask for help, but now that my daughter and I are facing eviction, I am asking for any help that we can get.
If you are able to help in any way at all, I am eternally grateful. Even if prayers, I really appreciate the kindness.
