Disabled Combat Veteran Education Fund

I am a Iraq combat medic veteran that was severely wounded by a mortar attack in 2003, luckily I survived and made a full recovery. I was a able to use VA Vocational Rehabilitation benefits to obtain my bachelors degree in Applied Physics, I am the first in my family to attend college. I currently attend the University of Wisconsin where I am completing my Ph.D. in Medical Physics, I perform cancer research and will soon enter a two year clinical residency program in radiation oncology. I humbly request a helping hand to fund my travel for my residency interviews and moving expenses for my family (my amazing wife and two children ages 5 years and infant of 5 months). I hope to act as an example for other combat veterans suffering from PTSD that through dedication and hard work we can overcome our obstacles to achieve our dreams. Thank you for your generosity.
