Celeste Downey Recovery Fund

In the early hours of February 4th 2017, Celeste Downey was on her way home via Uber when the vehicle was t-boned by a drunk driver. The impact was directly were Celeste was seated and in turn caused the car door to cave in two feet. Her resulting injuries include a broken femur, fractured hip, fractured clavicle, with additional cuts and bruising. She was taken to University of Louisville Hospital and received immediate surgery on her femur. Her hospital stay was five days long and the hospital expense alone is roughly $250,000. Her recovery will take up to six months, and since she is unable to walk unassisted and requires around the clock help, she will be unable to work during her recovery. I am creating this account in order to relieve some of the financial burden that has been placed upon Celeste so abruptly. If you can give anything at all, it will be greatly appreciated and go a long way to help Celeste during her recovery.
