help aNOMaly get back on skates

As you may or may not have heard, I am currently recovering from my first and waiting on my second surgery.
On 3 June 2013 in Wisconsin, I fractured my distal fibula and severed all of my tendons and ligaments while trying out for Team USA. Luckily, for me, I never half ass anything. HAH!
My first surgery, on 7 June 2013, was to repair my broken, shredded self. I now have (at least) twelve screws/pins and three plates in my left leg.
Trust me, I am just as surprised by the amount of hardware as you are; who know they could fit so much metal in a tiny baby leg?! O_o
I am on strict non weight bearing instructions until my next surgery. The second surgery will be to take out, at most, three of the screws/pins that are holding my tendons and ligaments together. This surgery will ensure that I do not snap the pins/screws once I am off non weight bearing instructions.
...two of those screws go from one side of my leg to the other...it's weird.
Thankfully, I was cleared (yesterday - 20 June 2013) to start working on getting my range of motion back. This means, I can totally start PT with Dr. Burns at NUDOC! :D
However, the fact that I am out of work (not really able to climb trees with a crazy awkward boot) means that I don't really have the funds to pay the $50 out of pocket expense. I am off work for at the very least THREE MONTHS. Oh, and did I mention that I had just recently started...so, I have no insurance. :/ lamesauce to the max!
As of right now, the hospital is giving me a discount, but I have yet to receive a bill with the amount owed...that's not going to be a fun envelope to open. Anyone wanna do it for me? ;)
So, I am asking for your help. Any and all donations are insanely treasured. Kind words will be more than welcomed. Hugs too! :)
If you have anything to spare, please consider helping me out. I don't know how long I can figuratively stand to be off skates.
Your support and donations are greatly appreciated,
<3 NOM
sidenote: if you prefer to donate in person with cash monies, please contact me...either through faceplace or by leaving a comment on this page.
