Hello to family, friends and Great dog Lovers,
4 days ago we adopted a new addition into our family. His name is Parker. He is a 2 year old male doberman pinscher. When I went to meet Parker for the first time his previous owner told me that she had bought him when he was about 9 months old and that he had been abused so she took him in and had him ever since, about a year. She got him while her husband was away and when he returned he said "No Way, He has to GO". So she posted him online and that is where our family found him. I brought him home due to his Great temperament and Awesome personality. Our girls immediately fell in Love with him! And him with the girls! He has caused absolutely NO trouble, he does not chew, he is completely house trained, he doesn't jump on furniture, has great manners and has blended with our family of 5 effortlessly. You can only imagine our despair and heartbreak during our first trip to the vet we find out that he has heart worm disease. Come to find out the previous owner had lied and only had Parker for 1 week! Found out about his life threatening illness and gave him to us without being upfront and honest from the start. We have now fallen head over heals for him and are faced with either a $2000.00 vet bill or letting him die. We can't let that happen. He has brought so much joy to us in just the past few days that he is truly a part of our family now and we are asking for your help in saving his life. Any little bit will help.
