Funding my treatments for Gastroparesis

Hi everyone!,I want to first thank you for taking time to come to this page. For those of you who don't know I was diagnosed with idiopathic Gastroparesis almost seven months ago. This is a condition where my stomach became paralyzed and I can no longer digest food on my own, it causes severe nausea every day and I can keep no form of food down and only small amounts of liquid. From this I have lost over 25 lb and lack energy on a daily basis. I have been receiving intravenous feeding through a port in my chest since February but due to chances of infection it soon needs to be removed .This has helped keep me alive but now I am on a search for a cure. After seeing many doctors who are not sure how to help me, and trying multiple medications only to suffer from severe side affects, I met with a doctor who would like to place a gastric pace maker in my stomach.This is a battery operated device placed under my ribs with two leads that are placed in the lining of my stomach. These leads send electronic pulses into to lining of my stomach to stimulate digestion. This is a surgery costing over $3,000 and has many restrictions to my life afterwards. In researching I found a girl who was dealing with this same issue and was cured by Chinese medicine, this saved her life. I now have been contacted by her doctor and he too believes he can help save me. With all of the medical bills I have accumulated this hope of visiting this doctor seems impossible.This fund is to help me get to Vancouver in hopes to find a cure without all the risks of surgery.Any kind donation to take me a step further in gaining my life back is appreciated more than I could ever express!!
