Creating memories

I would like to share this story with you all and ask for your help on behalf of my close friends Alan and Debbie.
Alan, aged just 38 was diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue in 2018.

He lived a healthy active lifestyle, he didn't drink or smoke.

Understandably the family were left absolutely devastated by the diagnosis but vowed to fight every step of the way and had done with such determination. 
They've showed such strength and resilience as a family.
His children have shown such courage.
The unimaginable turmoil the family have faced through cancer treatment I'm sure many of you are only to familiar with.

After two major surgeries on his tongue, radiotherapy treatment and chemotherapy,  socialising became a major issue for Alan as he felt nobody could understand him.
He'd had the majority of his tongue taken away and those that know him know that knocked that once fun loving  confident man.

He could no longer enjoy the foods he once enjoyed and everything had to be liquidised.
Not only did he have to face cancer head on but the mental health implications this horrible disease caused was just as gruelling and terrifying .

It changes you from the core of your being.


Yesterday, they were given the devastating news that his cancer was just to agressive to treat and Alan was diagnosed terminally Ill.

With your help I want us to help raise some money for the family so they're able to enjoy the time that's remaining together.
A bucket list for the family.

Alan, a plasterer by trade has worked hard to provide for his family for many years, he's a proud man and felt uncomfortable asking for help but we, his friends and family want to help them and this is the only way we know how.

We want to help them create some cherished  memories with the children with what little time is left. 

So please, I ask for any donations, however small would be gratefully appreciated.
