Loosing our dad, was probably one of the hardest things we have yet to go through in our lives. It was unexpected, he passed too young and too fast. He was such a great guy, loving father, brother and a kind friend to us all. No matter what, he would always have a smile on his face, and always be there if he could. We all know he loved all of his family, friends, and of course his newest addition, his granddaughter, Charlotte.
After my dad had passed, we found out about 2 weeks later that his life insurance policy was only two years old and we would only get the premiums of what he had paid in so far. (Which wasn't much, but it helped a little.) For his life insurance policy to fully kick in and pay for the amount of the funeral it would have to be for 3 years or more. Unfortunately, our family has been dealing with not only this heartache but trying to figure out someway to pay for this all at such a hard time. My dad was such a kind, gentle soul and would never wish this on anyone not even his family to have to go through something like this.
My brother (T.J.) and I, (Alicia) and his brother (Mike) are in charge of these funds and it will be going straight to the funeral home where we had my dad's services. We are hoping to get a good portion of the bill paid off as soon as we can, so we can all have a little stressed relieved in our lives at this hard time.
