My name is Colleen and I teach in an Applied Behavior Analysis Preschool for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The students in my class range from those in need of intense behavioral intervention to those who are almost ready to transition out of the program (hooray!) For these students, working on their language skills is especially important. Like many school districts, the one I work in is experiencing a huge budget crisis and cannot buy anything as far as curriculum for these classrooms. In order to effectively teach my students who are in transition, I am in need of a research based and verified direct instruction curriculum called Language for Learning. If I had the money, I would buy this for my little guys myself, in a heartbeat! I am not exaggerating when I say having this curriculum available would change these students' lives! Early Intervention in Autism is so important! Please help me educate these students more effectively! Every cent counts!
