OHIO PHOTOGRAPHER-Aaron Josefczyk

For those of you, that may have heard Aaron Josefczyk suffered a major heart attack on the sidelines of the Michigan vs Ohio State game on 11/25/2023.

Thankfully Aaron was still at the stadium and received immediate attention from MU police and EMS who quickly evaluated his situation and transported him to The University of Michigan hospital where after a brief and intense visit to the ER, he was rushed to the OR for surgery to repair his heart.

Aaron is now resting comfortably and hopefully will be released and return to Ohio in the next few days. Aaron is not through with surgeries and will most likely have to go through a heart bypass at some point after returning to Cleveland and meeting with heart surgeons. Aaron has been told he can not work currently and will need to be off of work for some time durning his recovery.

For anyone who knows Aaron or has had a chance to work with him you know how big his personality is. He loves to take selfies on the sidelines with his Photographer friends. Aaron always has a bag of candy in his hands and loves to be around all types of sports action. Aaron is a father of two and relies on his photography for his career and livelihood. Aaron is facing a lengthy recovery and will likely miss quite a bit of work while he recovers after eventually having open heart surgery. We are trying to help out financially for some of the missed work that Aaron will certainly face. Anything you can do to help out is appreciated.
