Don protégé
Please consider helping my precious pup Bailey. She is a vibrant 17 month old Golden doodle who fell ill very suddenly 2 weeks ago. After several trips to our primary vet and an extensive series of blood tests (all that came back negative) we were referred to BEVS in Burlington, VT.
An ultrasound discovered an abscess in Bailey's abdominal that was confirmed to be infectious. In order to give her any real chance of survival, she needs to have surgery. The costs are too high for me or anyone in my family to cover. Without surgery, the abscess will likely grow and rupture...you can imagine the rest from there.
2015 has been incredibly challenging for us. As sole provider for my family, finances were strapped as it was, but then I was laid off from my job of 10 years in March. While I have diligently been working to find work and sell my house, neither have come to fruition...yet. Meanwhile, we are trying our best to survive on my unemployment. I will leave those reading at this point, to imagine the financial situation resulting from this ...its pretty bleakbleak.

I waited a long time for this girl to come into my life, and she has been a blessing beyond words and measure during this rough patch. I've lost so much, and I just can't lose her too. Not without a good fight!
