This fundraiser was started by friends of a small business franchisee fighting for her life, her family, her employees, her business, and above all, her students, against a Goliath multibillion-dollar private equity company. Following a corporate acquisition, Tiffany stood up for other franchisees when their small businesses were faced with forced contract amendments, strong-arm tactics, and threats. She formed a franchisee association to defend other small businesses across the U.S., and in retaliation, that private equity firm terminated her franchise and has gone to great lengths to make an example of her so that no one else is bold enough to do the same in her stead.
Tiffany Cianci helps infants and toddlers to learn music, fitness, and sign language, but right now she needs help. She was recently featured on the cover of the Sunday edition of the New York Times after a four-month-long investigation into the horrible retaliation carried out against her. We are asking for your help to support her in this David vs. Goliath fight, which has already cost nearly $300,000 in legal expenses, with more than $40,000 due in the coming months. The company persecuting her has billions at its disposal and has already authorized a blank check in its pursuit of victory at all costs. Tiffany never wanted this fight, but she needs our help to finish it.
