Celestine’s Battle

Hello everyone. Glad you were able to make it to our page to support Célestine during this time.

In April, Célestine was overwhelmed by health challenges that led to a cancer diagnosis in late May. She has Occult Primary Breast Cancer, a rare cancer occurring in less than 1% of the population. It is an aggressive cancer that has already metastasized to her lymphatic system. Since May, she has had two surgeries and continues to have multiple health appointments weekly.

Célestine must undergo an aggressive program with two types of chemo to come out on the ‘living’ side of this. These treatments are to begin in August. At the very minimum, Célestine will have 6 months of chemo, assuming her white blood counts are stable between every round of infusion. She will undertake 6 weeks of daily radiation when this is completed.

As the owner of a business, Célestine is self-employed. If she is not working, there is no income, and during her treatment, she will be unable to work. Her earnings have already been deeply impacted.

We hope that with your help, 100% of Célestine’s energy can be focused on getting her mind, body, and spirit through this treatment without the added stress and distraction of the financial burden. Our goal is $30,000 to compensate for lost earnings and additional costs associated with her cancer.
