I hope this letter finds you well!
As most of you know, last year I had the opportunity
to minister for 2 months in a tiny country in the middle
of South Africa, called Swaziland. While I was there, I
experienced God in ways that I never have before.
I'm so thankful to all of you who made it possible
for me to walk in God's plan for my life.
I am truly blessed.
I have recently received an opportunity to travel to Siliguri, India for 3 months in January 2014 to work with an organization called Samaria's Hope! While in Swaziland, God really broke my heart for women in bondage, whether that be physical or spiritual. In India, I will be ministering to women working in brothels, as well as pouring into their children. The Lord has blessed me with boldness, and a desire to travel to the lost and the least, and for that I'm so thankful. Jesus came to set the captives free, and I'm so blessed that He has given me this chance to be the hands He uses to carry out His works.
In order to do this, I need your help!
First and foremost, I desire your support. I need prayers for safety and travel protection, and also, for God to prepare my heart for the social injustices I'm going to see. I need to keep my heart focused because I know I'm going to want to fix everyone, but I truly need to walk in God's footsteps, because His plan is even greater, even if sometimes, I don't think so. Please also pray for the hearts of the women and children, that they will be open to hearing the good news we have to bring.
Secondly, I need to raise $3,000 to cover my plane ticket and living expenses. Because I'm not going on this trip with an organized group, I have set up a way for you to donate and also receive a tax deduction.
