Help During Surgery Recovery

Hello family and friends! I really didn't want to start this fundraiser, but at this point we are desperate.
If you don't know my husband John was injured at work a couple of years ago and has been struggling with chronic pain ever since. On June 3rd he was scheduled to finally get the Spinal Decompression surgery he needed to alleviate the pressure on his nerves and give him most of his functionality back. This surgery was supposed to be minimally invasive and have a very short recovery time and we felt ready for that. Unfortunately, within a day of the surgery it was clear from his pain level that something was very wrong, so we returned to the hospital and learned that a blood clot had formed at the location of the first surgery and was causing an enormous amount of pressure on his nerves once again. Because of its size and the fact that it had spread beyond the area of the first incision a second larger incision was required to remove the clot. With this second procedure and all the added stress that has been put on his body, this recovery will be much longer, harder and more complicated financially.
John is currently only receiving $150 a week in temporary disability which is a drop in the bucket to be honest. We are now faced with needing several pieces of medical equipment and a new bed frame all with greatly reduced income. We are pursuing all avenues available to us for additional help, but they all take a lot of time that we do not have. I am working and always looking for extra hours and/or another job, so I'm not worried about becoming homeless, but I am worried about having everything I need to properly care for John so that he can get through this and get back to his life free from constant pain and worry. I know everyone is struggling and most of y'all are probably just as broke as me, so no pressure lol. If you can afford to help and want to that would be awesome and greatly appreciated.
