WOCC Mission's Trip to Kenya

My church, World Overcomers International Missions (www.wocconline.org) is once again sending a team to serve 150 boys and girls at Sulmac Primary School which is located in Lari, rural area of Kenya. Last year, the team served 100 girls at Kinyogori Primary School in Limuru, Kenya by helping to build a school library, funded clean water project to support the students and the community and conducted a weeklong camp for the girls (see video).

As you know, I am very passionate about education equity issues throughout the world. I have spent my summers teaching in Costa Rica, Jamaica and Mexico. With your support, I would be joining this year's mission team travelling to Lari, Kenya in August 2013. We are actively raising funds to support travel cost, construction costs for renovating the school building, building new desks, weeklong camp activities for the children and as well as funds to assist in providing a sustainable dairy farm for the school to generate income.
