For The Children

I attended the James A. Lane Boys and Girls Club in Huntsville, AL for many years during my childhood and adolescence.  It was here, where I learned more about scholarship, friendship, and mentor-ship. At James A. Lane, I was a part of both a ladies’ basketball and championship winning co-ed soccer teams.  Our coaches/counselors were not only teaching sportsmanship but also life lessons. We were all one big family.  As a product of the Boys and Girls Club, I can truly say it was instrumental in my maturation and helped me gain lifelong skills that resulted in many successes. Today, they are still fostering an enriching environment for youth. My husband and I want to show appreciation and spread awareness for community centers like this. That's why at our Halloween event this year, we will be accepting donations to go to the James A. Lane Boys and Girls Club of Huntsville, AL by way of GoFundMe.
