Diesels recovery
Hello everyone.
I am starting this fundraiser for our pup Diesel to get the care he needs to live past this week. For those that do not know him, he is one of the absolute most loving, caring dogs in the world. Diesel is still young, at 7 years old, and loves to play fetch and absolutely loves food! He loves to snuggle, loves to play, and right now my heart is breaking for him.
As of Monday morning Diesel began throwing up, very frequently, at large amounts. I figured maybe he just got into something, but his bodyhad other plans. The next day I noticed diesel was having a hard time standing up, and a hardtime walking. I noticed that diesel was extremely lethargic and in a lot of pain. He won’t eat, or drink. He won’t stand on his own. I was able to accomplish getting him outside to go potty, where I then noticed an extremely alarming issue. I noticed that my sweet boy was urinating blood. At that point I knew we needed to go to the vet urgently.
My husband and Diesel have an extremely strong bond, and in our current situation my husband can’t be here with diesel to comfort him and make the decisions with me to do the rightthing for him. My husband, Austin, is a member of the US Army, and he recently left and I am unable to contact him to tell him that his favorite pup in the world is fighting for his life right now. As a wife and diesels momma, my heart isshattered at this point.
Not being able to afford the care Diesel needs is so difficult to cope with. I want my pup to get better but as of right now all I could afford was 1000 to have him stay one measly night, and get a few meds in him. As of right now, Diesels vet is extremely concerned that taking him home will cause in his passing within the week. Diesel is fighting for his life.
After waiting in the parking lot for 4.5 hours last night, his exam results came in. It is bad, very bad.
Diesels current conditions;
vomiting, diarrhea, fever, not eating, not drinking, not walking on his own, blood in urine, a UTI, a heart murmur, Pneumonia, Swollen Pancreas, Potential Poisoning, Pain in his Abdomen (unknown reason) and Labored breathing.
With these issues discovered comes a large bill. A large bill that could save his life. A large bill that could help me from telling my husband that our dearest dog just passed away for the simple fact we cannot afford the care on our own, while he’s gone and unable to say any form of goodbyes. With this bill we could afford for diesel to stay the week, the get more tests done to find the cause of some of these issues, we could save him.
With this GoFundMe, I am asking for some help from my friends and family to help me affordthe care Diesels life depends on. Please help me save him. Life without Diesel, is something I cannot bare. I am alone, I am scared, and I want my baby boy to stay with me. If you can help our family, please consider it. We will forever be in your debt, and lucky to have people willing to help.
I will be writing updates frequently on Diesels health status, as I am having to take him home this morning, because I cannot afford the care he truly needs. If you have questions, please feel free to ask and I will answer as soon as time allows.
