Kanagy Family's Mission trip to Haiti

This year our family has the amazing opportunity to participate in our first Kanagy family mission trip to Haiti leaving January 29 and returning February 7, 2014. There will be a team of us from Crossroads Bible Church partnering with Haitian Ministries to serve along side of the poorest of the poor in Northern Haiti. Haitian Ministries mission is to serve the Northern Region of Haiti, creating lasting change by helping Haitians help Haitians (for God's Glory).
God is doing a great work in Haiti and it is exciting to know that we can be a part of it. We will be flying from Maine to Miami and then to Haiti and will serve in several ways: Building project (Curtiss & Wynn), Orphanages (Breanna), Soccer camp (Robin), Medical helps and in general being available for The Spirit of God to work in us and through us.
Over the next months our team will be meeting in preparation for our trip, (Breanna is already trying to learn some French). As part of the training we will learn how to share the news of God's love and will be trained in servanthood, teamwork, and effective ministry. We are excited to learn more about Haiti and how God will use our gifts to serve Him.
We believe that God has called us to be part of this mission trip and so we are stepping out in faith and are inviting you to be part of God's provision. Our goal is to enlist 40 people who will pray with us faithfully through our training and time in Haiti.
There is also an opportunity for you to be a part of our personal financial support team. The trip cost is $1500 per person and we will pay this through personal contribution and through donations from our friends.
We are trusting that God will provide us with prayer partners and the financial support we need to participate in this mission trip.
