Guten Tag (Good Day)! My name is Qadira and I am a high school student who loves learning foreign languages and other people's cultures and beliefs. I am also a Student Ambassador who went to Japan in July 2013 through People to People Ambassador Program and I had raised all of the funds required. Being a Student Ambassador means to step out of your "comfort zone" and become more open minded about others as well as for them to learn something about you and your culture. Being in Japan was an amazing and breathtaking experience because I experienced and learned things in Japan first-hand that I could not have received through a mere textbook or even television.
As a result of the "rush" one gets from traveling abroad and being a Student Ambassador, I wish to travel out of the country again with People to People. This time, I am going to European countries. These include: The United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Austria. However, Germany and Austria will be my focus. This is because I am taking German and since they are German-speaking countries, I will get to practice the German language to the fullest extent.
Here's How You Can Help: If you donate $10 or more toward my trip, and we get 350 people to give $10 a piece within 30 days (before May 2nd), my travel tuition will be paid off in full!
