3 year old Parks’ Leukemia Fight

Donation protected
On January 22nd, Chad and Faith received the heart-wrenching news that their 3 year old son, Parks, has Leukemia. The diagnosis came as a complete shock and has completely turned their world upside down. Both parents are doing their best to be strong for Parks while also caring for their youngest son, 17 month old Rowe who misses his best friend every minute of the day.

Immediately following the diagnosis, Parks and his parents traveled from Regina to Saskatoon for admission and treatment initiation.

Parks has successfully undergone surgery for a chemotherapy port, along with a spinal fluid tap and bone marrow draw confirming his B-cell leukemia. Surrounded by his parents, he faces this journey with courage and has begun the first of 6-9 months of chemotherapy and 2.5 years of treatment.

At 3 years old, Parks is a gentle soul that loves playing with his tractors, helping his Daddy farm and running around with his best friends and of course, his little brother. He has a cheeky sense of humour and makes sure to tell his family that he loves them every day. He is adored by all who know him and especially by both sets of his Grandparents and his large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The Taylor family is strong in their faith and have truly dedicated their lives in servitude of others. There is no end to the generosity they show others each day and they are the kind of people that would drop anything to help a friend in need - no questions asked. If you know them personally, chances are you’ve been blessed with Faiths delicious baking and have had to enlist Chads help fixing something. You’ll also know that their boys are the centre of their world and mean everything to them.

Our goal is to provide Chad and Faith with the necessary financial support for them to be able to concentrate wholeheartedly on supporting their son with his brave battle against this aggressive disease.

Every contribution, no matter what denomination will go directly toward the many costs that come with this diagnosis such as travel expenses for treatment, living expenses and subsequent follow up visits after treatment. Your generosity can make a tremendous difference for them during this time.

We know that God is the ultimate healer so along with Faith and Chad we ask for your prayers. Pray for strength and healing for Parks, pray for peace, understanding and strength for Faith and Chad, and pray for Rowe that his heart be protected while he watches his big brother face this horrible disease.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support the Taylors have received so far.
