3 Day Walk For The Cure

As many of you know, I have a very personal experience with breast cancer. My mom has been battling it for going on 11 years. When I was just a sophomore in high school, my mom was re diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that had spread throughout her body after being in remission for a couple of years. Ever since she's still faced every day ready to battle just as when she was first diagnosed 11 years ago. I want to partake in the three day walk to honor my mother, who has been the perfect example of a fighter and has remained hopeful even when things feel hopeless. I want to also represent my father who has stood by her side every second of this battle, whether it be taking her into Houston every other week or driving her to four different doctor appointments a week. I also want to represent anyone who has been effected by cancer as I trek along for those three days, walking 60 miles in total. Your support would mean the world to me and all of those effected. All funds will go to Susan G. Komen to ensure that I & my team member can walk!
