3 Bare Peaks

I have chosen another incredible endurance experience to provide a platform to raise awareness for nature and the natural beings of the world and to demonstrate our human potential.
The three peaks challenge normally involves covering the combined 23 miles of; Mount Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis on foot and then driving the 462 miles between them in just 24 hours.
Instead of driving, I will run the 462 miles of unnatural tarmac between ‘The Three Peaks’ in my Vivo Barefoot's BUT then kick them off & run the super natural terrain of ‘The Three Peaks’ barefoot!
I set off from Snowdon on August 29th to run the entire 485 miles of the #3BarePeaks completing an average of 54 miles per day (that’s a little over 2 marathons per day) in a record 9 days - finishing on Sept 6th.
For the 9 days that I will be either on the road or up the mountains I will be asking the public to show their love & support for the indigenous beings of the world by donating funds to Survival International via this Go Fund Me page.
Why Survival International
Modern humanity has seen global wildlife population drop by 60 percent since 1970, that’s half an adult life span, but what about native and indigenous beings? Our natural humanity is disappearing at an alarming rate and comprises of less than 5% of the world's population. If we wipe out the indigenous people of the world, we lose the most important template of all - we lose what it is to be a natural human and our natural humanity.
We also lose their profound wisdom of how to protect our sophisticated eco system. When talking about rewilding or regenerative practices and the protection of nature and our eco system, it is crucial that we recognise the Indigenous peoples and communities of the world whose wisdom protects 80% of global biodiversity.
Yes that’s right. The 5% of natural beings of the world protect 80% of global biodiversity. But here’s the kicker; instead of inviting these wise beings to the environmental table to discuss their ancestral practices on how to protect our eco system, we’re removing them from it.
Just think about that!?!
