A good friend of mine, Laurie Krantz and her husband Bill took their 11 year old daughter Katana to the hospital on the weekend as she was not well and then rushed to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital as they were told their daughter has T-cell Acute Lymphoma Leukemia.
Katana's white blood cell count was 500 and it should be eight. She has started two kinds of chemo already. With this said I am setting up this go fund me page hoping to help take some of the worry off Laurie and Bill's shoulders with all the extra costs of gas, parking, food, time off work and all the other extras that should arise. This is going to be a hard and long road for them. They have three other young ones at home and where told their hospital stay will be six to eight months.
