Matthew’s Fight

Donation protected

On Saturday October 24th, Hannah started having strong contractions. She was sent home. Her water ruptured on Sunday October 25th while she was sleeping. Hannah was transferred to St. Francis on Sunday and had a C Section immediately upon arrival. During her ambulance ride her cord prolapsed and baby Matthew went without oxygen for an unknown amount of time. Matthew faces a long road of recovery ahead of him. He is currently being cooled to allow his body to catch up and to prevent any further damage. He is on a ventilator and numerous medications to help. Matthew was born at just 33 weeks and his NICU doctors are expecting at least a month long stay. Hannah has a longer recovery than normal due to a procedure done incorrectly at another hospital before she was transferred. The mistake of one hospital left St. Francis forced to do her C section much higher than normal.

When Hannah is released her and Jesse both will be traveling to Saint Francis daily to be with Matthew. They have a long a journey ahead of them, but are in great hands at Saint Francis.

Thank you for your help and support. If you are unable to donate we understand. Prayers are just as important
