Diabetic Alert Dog for Christian

Christian's Need for Duke-the Diabetic Alert DogChristian is an active, athletic high school junior, who has type 1 diabetes. His dream is to go away to college however, this is a real challenge for him due to the diabetes. It presents a challenge, but not an impossibility. In order to bring him peace of mind, and added security while away, we are working to get him a Diabetic Alert Dog, Duke. Duke will help keep Christian's sugar levels more stabilized, and keep him healthy but alerting him when his levels are either too high (scary) or too low (really scary).
