Family Support

For those of you who know me well know that my sweet sister has been battling cancer for quite some time now.  My husband and I moved her and her daughter Felicia (my niece) to Lexington a few months ago so that we could better support them emotionally and financially.  Last week, my sister fell and broke her hip and had to have corrective surgery.  She was to be released into rehab yesterday and couldn’t reach Felicia who was supposed to pick her up.  I ran over to the house we had rented for them and found Felicia – unresponsive from an apparent suicide. 

We are devastated and overwhelmed with grief.  We are grateful for our many friends that have offered to help us and we thought creating this page may be the best way to make that happen.  Honestly, we don’t need flowers or food – simply and quite humbly – we need financial support in caring for my grieving sister and Felicia’s funeral arrangements.  Any help you can provide is appreciated by our family, more than you will ever know.
