Rebuild Our Barn

Our barn caught fire and we lost everything in less than 30 mins. Inside the barn was everything from all of our equipment and feed to almost 300 head of sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, and quail. It’s a complete loss; Unfortunately we do not have any insurance. With the Covid-19 lay-offs we have been relying on the income from our meat and dairy farm to make it through. The loss of our amazing animals is the most devastating and painful part of the entire situation. Fortunately 7 of my dairy goats, one goat kid, and 8 pigs survived the fire as well as my live stock guardian dogs. We are hoping to get enough money together for materials and get the community together for an old fashioned barn raising.  Although they are not truly replaceable we are hoping to find new goats and sheep to to replace  the lost livestock and to replace some equipment. The total loss of everything is close to $250,000.
