Tony's Triathlon Trail To Tokyo2020
Donation protected
My goal is to represent the USA in the 2020 Olympics.
I’ve worked hard my entire life through training and improving the natural ability I’ve been given. I started running and swimming in elementary school and competed in kids triathlons. In high school I swam, ran track and cross country, and competed at the Youth and Junior level in triathlon. My Junior triathlon career culminated with a bronze medal at World Championships in Beijing in 2011.
When I graduated from high school, my triathlon career was put on the back burner (but never out of reach) as I focused on running track and cross country for the University of Michigan while earning a degree in aerospace engineering.
In January 2017, I began my transition back to triathlon and earned my pro card in March. I am a member of the USA Triathlon development team and am being coached by Greg Mueller of Team Innovative Endurance.
Having earned an engineering degree, conducting research and development work for Specialized Bicycles, and fine tuning my running skills while at Michigan, I am now in a unique position to combine my aerodynamic expertise, athletic skills, and lifelong passion for sport in my quest to earn a spot on the USA Olympic Team in triathlon.
I have committed to spending the next four years in preparation for Tokyo 2020. To date, USA Triathlon, Specialized Bicycles, ROKA, and Quarq are on board as major sponsors for this long journey. Please consider following my progress and joining those and other sponsors in support of my dream "Tony's Triathlon Trail to Tokyo 2020."
Thank you, Tony
