Israel Trip 2018
Hello friends and family!
This is my last year of college! We've made it through the many challenges that were encountered throughout these last few years! I most definitely could not have made it this far if not for your abounding generosity and charitableness! :)
Being a double major (Biblical Studies & Intercultural Studies) normally means that my class load tends to be a bit more packed and hectic than usual. As of recent I had been a little worried about the classes I still have to take in order to graduate with my degrees, since there is one particular class (Old Testament III) that would not fit in my schedule for these next couple of semesters. :/
That's when I heard that Bethel had recently organized a trip to Israel for May 2018. Not only visiting the Holy Land has always been a dream of mine, but I was also notified that I could take the extra class during the trip!
However, with the dream of participating in this memorable trip come many challenges, especially financially ones. I need to make payments by specific deadlines over this semester and the next one in order to be able to join my professors and peers in this wonderful experience. Being a college student certainly limits how much money I am able to raise over the course of the semester. Furthermore, as an International student I am not allowed to make bank loans to provide the necessary money for my expenses.
I could not have made it this far in my college career, much less even to college itself, if not by the collective efforts of everyone who supported me in many ways! Here again I come to you all, if you feel genuinely compelled, to help me and support me in fulfilling my dreams for the last year of college, and for something that will undoubtedly mark my life from hereafter.
All that is left to cover for the expenses of the trip is the total amount of $985! We are almost there!
