Diagnosis: Left humeral supracondylar fracture, right tibial plateau avulsion, multiple puncture wounds with subcutaneous emphysema
At first, the vet recommended amputation of his front left leg, however after more X-rays we found out that his rear right leg was also injured so they had to try to save the left arm. Bugs ended up with 7 pins in the left elbow and one screw in the right knee. He received a brace for the front right leg for a hyper extended wrist as well as dozens of stitches to close the bite wounds.
“Bugs” is a very sweet, gentle boy. All he wants to do is share his big heart with those that love him.
His vet bills are already over $8,000 as a result of 2 surgeries and 5 nights in ICU. He is going to need another surgery plus physical therapy.
“Bugs” is on the road to recovery but we need YOUR HELP to get him there. In spite of all the negative things in our world today, YOU have a chance to do something really positive during this Holiday Season. Please contribute whatever you can. No donation is too small.
Thank you for giving "Bugs" a second chance!
